This week you will be practicing creating buttons for your game. You and your teammates will need to create a new flash file and name it with this naming convention: TeamName_ButtonPractice1.
Once you have created your file, you and your teammates will need to look on the wiki and figure out how to create a button for your game. You will need to create two frames in your Flash file. On frame 1, you will have a "Next" button and on frame 2 you will have a "Back" button. When you click "Next" it should take you to frame 2, when you click "Back" it should take you to frame 1. You may use any tutorials on the wiki to do this. Every team that has their button file correctly embedded (FLA and SWF) on their team page by the end of the period on Wednesday will earn 5 minutes of PAT time for their class. If your team does this with no help from any other teams, you will earn 10 minutes of PAT time. If you do it for another team (for example, are sitting in their seat working on their computer) you will be disqualified, your minutes won't count, and you won't get to participate in PAT time on Friday. If your class earns more than 57 minutes of PAT time, we will have PAT time on Thursday and Friday. You can earn extra minutes by adding more interesting stuff (more buttons, animations, etc.) to your file. You are not allowed to ask a teacher for help but you may ask another student.
Here is what your finished Flash file should look like:
