Tempest in Crescent City
1. What did you learn about Hurricane Katrina by playing the game Tempest in Crescent City?
2. In the game Tempest in Crescent City, you must save people by chopping holes in their roofs. Why did the game designers include this in the game?
3. As you advance through the game, the water levels rise and it becomes more difficult to advance and help all the people before time runs out and it gets dark. Why do you think the game designers made the game this way?

Darfur is Dying
1. What did you learn about Darfur by playing the game Darfur is Dying?
2. In the game Darfur is Dying, you can choose to forage for water and use different characters. Are there differences in the characters? Why did the game designers make the characters have different abilities? Does this tell you anything about what is happening in real life?
3. Another part of the game is to maintain camp. Do you think this was just for fun or was there another reason this is included in the game?
