The Lightning Thief - Chapter 1

Yesterday we started reading The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. Please summarize what happened in chapter one (I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher) and any questions you might have had about what is happening or what is going to happen next.

Your Choice

Today you may write a blog post about whatever you choose. You must write at least 5 sentences and include one link and one picture. The rest is up to you!

Your Game Is Finished! (Hopefully)

Now that your game is finished (or almost finished) please reflect on what you have learned in Globaloria this year. Please write at least 10 sentences.

Here are some things you can choose to write about:

• Your experiences working on a team (or without a team if you were alone)
• Something you did that you are proud of
• Something you learned about yourself
• Something you learned about the topic that you made your game on
• Anything else related to what you have learned in Globaloria

Once you are finished you will need to upload ALL the files you have worked on this year to the wiki and post them either on your team page (if they are relateted to your game), your projects page, or your individual wiki page.

Best Blog

Today you may write a blog post about whatever you choose, but I want you to make it the best blog post you can possibly write. It must be at least five sentences. Check your spelling and grammar!

The Big Test

TAKS testing is next week! How do you feel about the TAKS test? Are you excited? Are you nervous? Are you going to do something special when TAKS is over? Please write at least 5 sentences. Sentences should start with a capital letter and end with a period. Sentences should NOT start with and, or, but or because.

When you are finished you may get your Flash drive and start working on your game. By then end of class you should upload any new files that you have created for your game and the most updated version of your game demo.
